Woolworths wines available to wine club members

We are a proud supplier of premium wines to Woolworths and can now offer you the chance to purchase these exclusive wines for a limited period through our wine club.

We work closely with Woolworths’ wine selector and Cape Wine Master Allan Mullins to create the True to Terroir range, top-tier Woolworths wines. The range includes four single cultivars, each a true expression of their terroir. The term “terroir” refers to the distinctive character of a vineyard, influenced by factors such as soil, drainage, slope and elevation.

The range has done exceptionally well at the Michelangelo Wine Awards and at Veritas last year and can be purchased online until 25 March 2012, along with the wines we make for the Woolworths Classic and Reserve ranges.

Feast and festivities at the annual Spier Wine Harvest Festival

Join Frans and the winemaking team in celebrating the annual grape harvest at Spier. Stalls offering delectable treats will be set up on the lawns in front of our new wine tasting venue. Our 21 Gables, Creative Block and Signature ranges will be on offer.

The winemaking team will lead the charge in the annual grape stomping challenge to the beats of the various bands that play throughout the day.

The festival is from 10h00 – 16h00 on Saturday, 25 February and costs R70, which includes a wine glass and five tickets that can be used either for wine tastings or children’s games. Tickets can only be purchased on the day.

Exclusive offer to wine club members

Wine Club members have the chance to join a members-only dinner the night before our Harvest Festival kicks off on Friday, 24 February with a winemaker. The offer includes a standard hotel room and breakfast plus tickets to the festival on Saturday. From R645 per person sharing per night with limited availability.
